🎨 Citroen C4 Grand Picasso 2008 Boot Space
The 3008 offers up one of the largest boots in its class. With the rear seats in place and the adjustable boot floor in its lowest position, a huge 591 litres of space is available. Position the floor a little higher up in line with the boot sill, and it’s still an impressive 520 litres. That’s more than the 510 litres offered by the SEAT
Citroën C4 Grand Picasso Car Rental from Sixt. Abundance of uncluttered interior space with room for three child seats. Large boot space with a maximum capacity of 2181 litres. With 7 seats and flexibility to reconfigure the seating arrangements. Impressive fuel economy with a BlueHDi diesel Euro 6 engine.
When it comes to fuel economy the winner has to be C4 Grand Picasso, averaging around 8.4 liters of fuel per 100 kilometers (34 mpg), in combined cycle. We can't ignore that 12% difference compared to Espace. Verdict. Renault appears just a bit more reliable, although the difference is truly marginal.
The engine range for the Renault Captur range kicks off with the TCe 90, an 89bhp turbocharged 1.0-litre three-cylinder petrol that comes exclusively with a six-speed manual gearbox.
It has 471 litres of boot space – slightly more than the Renault Scenic’s 437 litres, but way down on the Citroen C4 Picasso's 537 litres. With the seats down, load space increases to 1,851
The Picasso is Citroen’s five-seater MPV, so if you need seven seats and even more space, the Citroen C4 Grand Picasso may be a better choice. The C4 Picasso’s boot may be a massive 500
Boot space: 537 liters. Dashboard. Interior space with 5 seats. The Citroen C4 Picasso has a length of 4438 mm, a height of 1625 mm, a width of 1826 mm without the exterior mirrors and a measurement of 2117 millimeters with the mirrors unfolded.
The height, measured from the ground to the top of the car, is 1644 mm across all variants. The width ranges from 1826 mm to 1971 mm depending on the variant. The length ranges from 4597 mm to 4602 mm. See the table below for a comprehensive list of dimensions for the Citroen Grand C4 Picasso 2017 including the height, width, length and more for each vehicle.
With all the seats folded, the Grand C4 Picasso can accommodate an impressive 2,181 litres of cargo but even in five-seater mode it can swallow 790 litres – a 69-litre increase over the previous model. Citroen also claims it’s the widest boot in this class too, with a 1.17m distance between the wheelarches.
Without a caravan behind it, the Grand C4 Picasso shifts along with real purpose, making the most of the 273lb ft of torque. As long as you keep above 1500rpm, there’s plenty of power for solo driving. The engine is reasonably refined, too, staying in the background unless worked hard.
If you turn the engine off and get out of the car leaving the keys inside it shouldn't lock itself. The only 'self-locking' should be if you are outside the vehicle and lock it, then accidentally unlock it. If you don't open a door within about 30 seconds it will think you didn't mean to unlock and will then re-lock.
